Rainy days

Lovely evenings

One of those evenings where the air is warm and the twilight makes everything look fantastic. The church is on Havelska street.

Another nice thing about Prague is the infrastructure. I dont know of any other place where it´s so easy to get around. Here we have the metro lines, the trams and the busses all together covering almost the city from one end to another. But a little extra thing is the small boats taking people across the river. Here a picture from Podhori - Podbaba line. Other connections are for example: from Podoli - Zlichov, Sedlec - Zámky, and the newest is between Modrany - Lahovicky. Using those boats offers you a quick way to cross the river in places otherwise far from the bridges. Just use a metro or tram ticket and you are on your way :-)

Kozna street in the morning

It seems to me that in Prague there are people everywhere all day and night long - the best time to actually see the beauty of the city is early morning -one of the few moments where the city center is almost empty and very quiet. This is from Kozna - a small alley with nice restaurants very close to Old town square. The church in the back is Týn cathedral (Týnský Chrám).

Neighbours

I have always liked to look at windows - especially when its dark outside. From the light coming from inside I imagine stories about people living there, different tones of light brings different stories. This is a window belonging to someone in my yard. From this light, from the nice jazz you can hear when the windows open, the voices etc I like to think of those people living there, that they are interesting people enjoying life. I think they have a lot of books, a comfortable couch, like a glass of wine. All that from a look at a window...

My favourite cinema

My favourite cinema Svetozor on Vodickova street. In the passage there is a café Ovocný Svetozor, which is serving very nice icecreams :-) And the café itself looks super with furniture and lamps in bright red & blue colours by Kartell. Dont miss this place !
